WCF 11 RESULTS: Dan Lauzon and Anthony Leone Win in Boston -
WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP FIGHTING 11 was held Saturday, June 18, 2011, at the Aleppo Shriner's Auditorium in Wilmington, Massachusetts, a suburb of Boston.
In the main event, Dan "The Upgrade" Lauzon won his third straight fight since being released from the UFC after back-to-back losses to Efrain Escudero and Cole Miller. Lauzon scored a first-round TKO win over WCF veteran Noah Weisman to capture the vacant WCF Lightweight Championship. Dan Lauzon is the younger brother of current UFC lightweight Joe Lauzon.
In the co-main event, Team Bombsquad's Anthony Leone finally got off the schneid with a unanimous decision victory over Bill Jones. After starting his MMA career 8-0, Leone went on to lose 4 straight fights in the WEC, Bellator and Strikeforce.
